🇪🇺 OpenAI Faces New GDPR Privacy Complaint in the EU

OpenAI is under scrutiny again in the EU with a new privacy complaint lodged by the rights group noyb, challenging ChatGPT's misinformation issues under GDPR rules. The complaint focuses on ChatGPT's inability to correct false personal data, a right upheld by GDPR. Noyb argues that OpenAI's failure to rectify inaccurate data or clarify data sources violates the regulation's stringent transparency and accuracy requirements, potentially leading to significant legal repercussions across multiple EU states.

💸 Meta's AI Ad Tools Fail, Draining Budgets

Meta's automated ad platform, Advantage Plus, is reportedly draining budgets rapidly without delivering expected sales, causing dissatisfaction among advertisers. Since its glitch on Valentine's Day, the platform has repeatedly exceeded budget caps, with costs per impression soaring, greatly impacting small businesses and driving marketers away from Meta's platforms.

Despite attempts to address these issues, the performance remains erratic and unreliable, leading to a decrease in platform trust and an increase in manual ad purchases.
