Google Chrome introduces a new AI writing generator powered by its Gemini AI model. Originally a feature in Gmail, this tool now extends its capabilities across the web, allowing users to generate or rewrite text in any text field. Currently in an experimental phase, it's available in English for Windows, Mac, and Linux users. The AI tool is designed for crafting short-form content and adjusts its suggestions based on the webpage context. However, user data, including text and URL, will be shared with Google under its privacy policy for the improvement of this feature, which involves human review.

Arc's 'Pinch-to-Summarize' Feature: Innovative but Inaccurate? 🤏

Arc browser's new feature, "pinch-to-summarize," uses AI to create concise summaries of web pages with a unique pinching gesture. While the gesture and transition effects are praised for their innovative interaction and aesthetic, the feature's accuracy in generating summaries is inconsistent.
