🚨 Major News Outlets Sue OpenAI and Microsoft Over Copyright Infringement

These publications argue that such actions have enabled ChatGPT to reproduce copyrighted works without proper attribution, potentially misleading users about the legality of the content generated. Furthermore, the lawsuits highlight a business strategy by OpenAI and Microsoft, suggesting they knowingly made ChatGPT more appealing by hiding the fact that its responses might infringe on copyrights, even offering legal indemnities to paying customers of Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise.
